Providing Support for Your Solution

This content is no longer actively maintained. It is provided as is, for anyone who may still be using these technologies, with no warranties or claims of accuracy with regard to the most recent product version or service release.

Once your solution is in the hands of users, it's likely that you'll have to provide some level of support for it — answering questions, aiding installation, fixing bugs, and generally helping users to use the solution to get their jobs done. You may be able to avoid some support issues by providing a Help file for the solution. For information about creating Help files, see Chapter 13, "Adding Help to Your Custom Solution."
