The FrontPage Server Extensions Remote Procedure Call (RPC) Protocol documentation is provided for Web administrators and Web developers working with the FrontPage Server Extensions from Microsoft. The FrontPage Server Extensions RPC Protocol governs the exchange of information between a client application and the server extensions. This communications protocol is layered on top of the same HTTP protocol that Web browsers use to interact with Web servers. Approximately 70 RPC methods communicate with the programs included with the FrontPage Server Extensions.
