History Details Dialog Box (Explorer and Plug-in)
Displays details of the history of a file or a project. The history details include comments associated with an event, such as creation date and current version number. Also provided is more detailed event information, such as label information, version data, checkout comments, and so forth.
Dialog Box Access
In Visual SourceSafe Explorer or a SourceSafe plug-in in Visual Studio, access either the History of <name> or History of Project dialog box, and click Details.
- Comment
Displays a comment for a specific version of a file or project. You can change the comment.
- Date
Shows the date and time the selected file or project was created or last checked out.
- Item
Specifies the selected file or project.
- Label
Specifies the label, if any, for the file or project. You can change this label.
- Label comment
Displays the comment entered at the time a label was applied.
- Next
Shows detailed information for the next item in the list in the History of <name> or History of Project dialog box.
- Previous
Shows detailed information for the previous item in the list in the History of <name> or History of Project dialog box.
- Type
Specifies either Project or the particular file type, if the selected item is a file.
- User
Specifies the name of the user who created the version.
- Version
Displays the version number of the selected file or project.
