How to: Show Column Names in the Diagram Pane
You can choose to hide or show the column names of tables in the Diagram Pane of the Query and View Designer.

Your computer might show different names or locations for some of the Visual Studio user interface elements in the following instructions. The Visual Studio edition that you have and the settings that you use determine these elements. For more information, see Customizing Development Settings in Visual Studio.
Show Column Names
Right-click the table in the Diagram Pane of the Query and View Designer.
Choose Column Names from the shortcut menu.
Hide Column Names
Right-click the table in the Diagram Pane of the Query and View Designer.
Choose Name Only from the shortcut menu.
