Integrating Enterprise Applications
Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 introduces a new enterprise integration feature called Business Data Catalog. Business Data Catalog provides an easy way to integrate business data from back-end server applications, such as SAP or Siebel, with your corporate portal site to provide rich solutions for end users.
In addition, Office SharePoint Server 2007 enhances the single sign-on functionality to include a pluggable single sign-on mechanism that allows you to use alternate single sign-on providers.
This section contains overview information and step-by-step, how-to procedures for programming with Business Data Catalog and implementing single sign-on.
