IFormProviderEx

The IFormProviderEx interface provides read message forms and compose message forms, in addition to message status icons.

When to Implement

Implement IFormProviderEx whenever you want to extend the functionality of the Windows Mobile Messaging application with your own plug-in.

When to Use

Use IFormProviderEx to create new messages, and to read incoming messages.

Methods in Vtable Order

IFormProviderEx methods Description

IFormProviderEx::GetMsgStatusIconIndex

Returns the index to the appropriate icon in the symbol bitmap, for the form library.

IFormProviderEx::CreateComposeForm

Creates the compose message form.

IFormProviderEx::CreateReadForm

Creates the read message form (for displaying the message).

IFormProviderEx::FORMTYPE

Enumeration used by the IFormProviderEx::CreateComposeForm method to specify the type of message to compose.
