IWMPSettings::get_enableErrorDialogs

The get_enableErrorDialogs method retrieves a value indicating whether error dialog boxes are displayed automatically.

Syntax

Parameters

pfEnableErrorDialogs

[out]  Pointer to a VARIANT_BOOL indicating whether error dialog boxes are displayed automatically. The default is TRUE.

Return Values

The method returns an HRESULT. Possible values include, but are not limited to, those in the following table.

Return code Description
S_OK The method succeeded.

Remarks

This method exhibits specific behavior for remoted instances of the Windows Media Player control. For more information, see Remoting the Windows Media Player Control.

Requirements

Version: Windows Media Player 9 Series or later.

Header: Include wmp.h.

Library: Use wmp.dll.
