TypeConverter.CanConvertTo Method (Type)

Returns whether the type converter can convert an object to the specified type.

Parameters

  • destinationType
    Type: System.Type
    The type you want to convert to.

Return Value

Type: System.Boolean
true if this converter can perform the conversion; otherwise, false.

Remarks

Notes to Implementers

The base implementation calls the other signature (CanConvertTo(ITypeDescriptorContext, Type)) passing a null context.
