ITimeZone::get_IsStandardAbsoluteDate

The IsStandardAbsoluteDate property determines whether StandardDate is an absolute or relative date. Its value is TRUE if StandardDate is an absolute date or FALSE if it is a relative date.

Syntax

HRESULT get_IsStandardAbsoluteDate(
  VARIANT BOOL * pfAbsolute
);

Parameters

  • pfAbsolute
    [out] Reference to the Boolean flag.

Return Values

This method returns the standard values E_INVALIDARG, E_OUTOFMEMORY, E_UNEXPECTED, and E_FAIL, as well as the following:

  • S_OK
    The method completed successfully.

Remarks

StandardDate is the date that the switch from daylight savings time over to standard time occurs, for a particular time zone.

IsStandardAbsoluteDate is undefined if SupportsDST is FALSE.
